What is Ural® used for​​​?

Ural® Effervescent Powder is a pleasantly lemon urinary alkaliniser, which works by raising the pH of urine. This makes the urine less acidic which provides effective relief from the pain, burning and discomfort of a urinary tract infection (UTI).

Dosage and how to use​

• Dissolve the contents of 1 to 2 sachets in a glass of cool water and mix. Ural® may be taken up to four times daily.
• Do not take for more than five days unless advised to do so by a doctor.

What are the possible side effects of Ural®?

Ural® is generally well tolerated. Some possible side effects may include a mild laxative effect.

What precautions should I take?

Inform your healthcare professional if:

• You are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
• You are on a medically prescribed low-sodium diet.
• You are taking any other medications, including supplements, traditional medications and herbal remedies.
